Karyofyllia Karabeti (born in Doxa, Drama, in 1958) is a Greek actress, considered one of the most important of her generation. A graduate of the Drama School of the National Theatre of Greece, she has built a distinguished career, excelling primarily on stage. She is renowned for her intense portrayals of female roles from ancient Greek tragedy, such as Medea, Clytemnestra, and Electra, performed in major theaters, including the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus. Her work is not limited to classical theater; she has also worked in film, with roles in movies such as *O Ergenis* (1997), and in successful television series like *I Deka Entoles*. Her versatility and talent have been widely recognized with numerous awards, notably the prestigious Marika Kotopouli Prize for her outstanding contribution to Greek theater and several Best Actress awards at the Thessaloniki Film Festival.
