Katharina Herberg is a German classical guitarist, internationally recognized for her virtuosity and interpretive sensitivity. She completed her musical education at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin, studying with Professor Eugenia Kanthou and graduating with the highest honors. Her concert career has led her to perform as a soloist and in chamber ensembles in prestigious concert halls throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas, including the Berlin Philharmonie and Konzerthaus. Her repertoire ranges from traditional guitar music to transcriptions and contemporary works, many of which were written specifically for her. Her debut album, "Arien & Etüden," received critical acclaim. Among her numerous awards are first prizes at the Deutscher Musikwettbewerb and the "Andrés Segovia" International Guitar Competition in Linares, Spain, which have solidified her position on the world's guitar scene.
