
Katharina M. Schubert
Katharina M. Schubert is a German actress and theater director born in Wiesbaden in 1977. Trained at the prestigious Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna, she has built her career primarily on the stage, becoming a member of prominent ensembles such as the Burgtheater in Vienna, the Thalia Theater in Hamburg, and the Deutsches Theater in Berlin, before permanently joining the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz. Alongside her work in theater, she has developed a significant career in film and television. Her notable roles include appearances in acclaimed films such as *Shoppen* (2006) and Michael Haneke's *The White Ribbon* (2009). Her talent has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Ulrich Wildgruber Prize, the "Actress of the Year" title from the trade magazine *Theater heute*, and the Deutscher Filmpreis (German Film Award) for Best Supporting Actress for the film *Ein Geschenk der Götter* (2014).
