Katharina M. Schubert is a German actress and theater director born in Wiesbaden in 1977. Trained at the prestigious Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna, she has built her career primarily on the stage, becoming a member of prominent ensembles such as the Burgtheater in Vienna, the Thalia Theater in Hamburg, and the Deutsches Theater in Berlin, before permanently joining the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz. Alongside her work in theater, she has developed a significant career in film and television. Her notable roles include appearances in acclaimed films such as *Shoppen* (2006) and Michael Haneke's *The White Ribbon* (2009).
