Kathy Najimy is an American actress, comedian, and activist, known for her versatile character roles in film and television. Her career gained momentum off-Broadway with the feminist production *The Kathy & Mo Show*, which earned her an Obie Award. She achieved international fame playing the exuberant nun Mary Patrick in *Sister Act* (1992) and its sequel, and the witch Mary Sanderson in the cult film *Hocus Pocus* (1993) and its 2022 sequel. For over a decade, she voiced Peggy Hill in the animated series *King of the Hill*, a role for which she won an Annie Award for excellence in voice acting.
