Keith Buckley
Keith Buckley (born November 19, 1979) is an American musician and writer, primarily known as the frontman and lyricist of the metalcore band Every Time I Die. From 1998 until their disbandment in 2022, he led the group through the release of nine studio albums, distinguishing himself with his complex, literary, and metaphor-laden lyrics, which explore themes such as religion, mortality, and human relationships. Concurrently, he was a member of the supergroup The Damned Things, alongside members of Anthrax and Fall Out Boy, and after the end of Every Time I Die, he formed his new band, Many Eyes. His artistic career also extends to literature; he has published two semi-autobiographical novels, "Scale" (2015) and "Watch" (2018). Although he has not received any major mainstream awards, Buckley is widely recognized by critics and audiences as one of the most influential voices and one of the most gifted lyricists in the contemporary hardcore and metal scene.
