
Ken Hutchison
Kenneth Hutchison (Leslie, 1948 – 2021) was a Scottish actor, known for his intense screen presence. He is internationally known primarily for his controversial and powerful role as Norman Scutt in Sam Peckinpah's film *Straw Dogs* (1971), a performance that marked his career. His filmography also includes important roles in major productions, such as a police officer in Richard Attenborough's multi-award-winning *Gandhi* (1982) and Captain of the Guards Marquet in Richard Donner's fantasy classic *Ladyhawke* (1985). Also highly active in television, particularly in the United Kingdom, he acted in numerous police and drama series, including the recurring role of Superintendent Bresslaw in *Wycliffe*.
