
Kristina Anapau
Kristina Anapau is an American actress, writer, and producer, born in Hilo, Hawaii, on October 30, 1979. With a strong background in classical ballet, which included training at the Royal Ballet School, she began her career at a young age. She achieved international recognition for her role as the ballerina Galina in Darren Aronofsky's film *Black Swan* (2010), a performance for which she and the rest of the cast received a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. In television, she is best known for the character of the fairy Maurella in the HBO series *True Blood*, a role she played from 2011 to 2012. Her filmography also includes appearances in films such as *Cursed* (2005), *100 Feet* (2008), and *5 Souls* (2013), establishing her presence primarily in the thriller and horror genres. She has also had recurring roles in television series such as *The Glades*. In addition to acting, she has dedicated herself to writing and producing independent projects.
