Kyoko Fukada, born on November 2, 1982, is a Japanese actress and singer. She began her career in 1996 after winning the "Horipro Talent Scout Caravan" talent competition. Her popularity surged in 1998 thanks to the television drama *Kamisama, Mou Sukoshi Dake*. In film, her most acclaimed performance is in the 2004 movie *Shimotsuma Monogatari* (Kamikaze Girls), which earned her numerous awards, including the Japan Academy Film Prize for Best Actress and the Best Actress award at the Yokohama Film Festival. Her other significant works include the live-action film *Yatterman* and successful TV series such as *Dame na Watashi ni Koishite Kudasai* and *Hajimete Koi o Shita Hi ni Yomu Hanashi*.
