
Lee Hak-ju
Lee Hak-ju (born January 9, 1989) is a South Korean actor. A graduate of Hanyang University where he studied theater and film, he began his career acting in short films and independent productions, gaining recognition for his intense performances. His breakthrough came in 2020 with the role of Park In-gyu in the immensely successful drama *The World of the Married*, which brought him widespread visibility and a nomination for Best New Actor at the prestigious Baeksang Arts Awards. Since then, he has demonstrated great versatility in notable works, playing a loyal gang member in the Netflix noir series *My Name* (2021), a detective in Park Chan-wook's critically acclaimed film *Decision to Leave* (2022), and a nobleman in the historical drama *My Dearest* (2023). For the latter performance, he won the Excellence Award at the MBC Drama Awards, solidifying his status as a capable and respected actor in the South Korean entertainment industry.
