
Leland Palmer
Leland Palmer is an American actress, dancer, and singer, primarily known for her career in Broadway musical theatre and her association with director and choreographer Bob Fosse. She made her Broadway debut in 1966 and rose to prominence for her portrayal of Fastrada in the original production of *Pippin* (1972), a performance for which she earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. Her collaboration with Fosse continued in film with the semi-autobiographical *All That Jazz* (1979), in which she portrayed a character based on Gwen Verdon. Her other notable stage credits include *Hello, Dolly!* and *Grind* (1985); for the latter, she received her second Tony Award nomination, this time for Best Actress in a Musical. Her career also includes television appearances and a role in the film *Mame* (1974).
