
Leslie Ash
Leslie Ash is a British actress, born in Clapham, London, on 19 February 1960. Her career began at a young age as a model, securing her first prominent film role in the cult film *Quadrophenia* (1979). She became a familiar face on British television, primarily for her role as Deborah in the popular 1990s sitcom *Men Behaving Badly*, one of her most celebrated performances. Subsequently, she played Karen Buckley in the drama series *Where the Heart Is* from 2000 to 2003 and had a recurring role in *Holby City*. Her career was interrupted in 2004 following a severe MSSA infection that limited her mobility. Although she has not won major individual awards, her contribution to highly successful series, such as the BAFTA-winning *Men Behaving Badly*, has established her as a recognizable and well-regarded figure in the UK television landscape.
