Leslie Daniels is an American writer, editor, and teacher, known for her debut novel, *Cleaning Nabokov's House* (2011), published in Italy under the title *La bugia di una moglie*. The work achieved international success, becoming a bestseller and being translated into numerous languages. Her second novel, *The Last Song of Issy Bradley* (2015), received widespread critical acclaim and was shortlisted for prestigious awards such as the Costa First Novel Award and the Desmond Elliott Prize, consolidating her literary reputation. In addition to her work as an author, Daniels has had a long career as a creative writing teacher at various institutions and workshops. She is also the co-founder of the Santa Maddalena Foundation, a renowned writers' retreat located in Tuscany, which has hosted numerous world-renowned authors, contributing significantly to the international literary community.
