Li Fazeng, born in 1941, is a renowned Chinese actor, best known for his iconic portrayal of the strategist Zhuge Liang in the monumental 1994 television series *Romance of the Three Kingdoms*. This performance, considered a landmark in the history of Chinese television, earned him widespread popular and critical acclaim, culminating in his winning the award for Best Leading Actor at the 14th China TV Golden Eagle Awards in 1996. A theater-trained actor, he had a long and prolific career with the China Youth Art Theatre, playing numerous prominent roles. In addition to the character that brought him fame, he has appeared in several other film and television productions, often portraying historical figures.
