Milton "Lil Rel" Howery Jr. is an American actor and comedian. He began his career as a stand-up comedian, gaining visibility for his role as Bobby Carmichael in the television sitcom *The Carmichael Show* (2015–2017). His international breakthrough came in 2017 with Jordan Peele's horror film, *Get Out*, where his portrayal of TSA agent Rod Williams was acclaimed by critics and audiences. For this performance, he won an MTV Movie & TV Award for Best Comedic Performance. He later solidified his success by starring in films such as *Bird Box* (2018), *Uncle Drew* (2018), *Free Guy* (2021), and the drama *Judas and the Black Messiah* (2021), demonstrating his versatility. He also created and starred in the sitcom *Rel* (2018–2019), based on his own life, and has continued to produce stand-up comedy specials, including *Lil Rel Howery: Live in Crenshaw* for HBO.
