Liliana Gerace was an Italian actress known for her film career, particularly in the thriller and horror genres. A recurring figure in Dario Argento's cinema, she made her debut with *The Bird with the Crystal Plumage* (1970). She then appeared in the master's masterpieces such as *Deep Red* (1975), in the memorable role of Carlo's mother, and *Suspiria* (1977).

Her filmography also includes important collaborations with Pupi Avati, in cult films such as *The House with Laughing Windows* (1976) and *Zeder* (1983). Gerace specialized in character roles, often playing mature, mysterious, or unsettling female figures. Her discreet yet incisive presence left an indelible mark on many Italian genre film productions.
