Lily Gladstone is an American actress of Native American descent (Blackfeet and Nez Perce), known for her intense performances in independent and mainstream cinema. She first received significant critical acclaim for her role in Kelly Reichardt's film *Certain Women* (2016), with whom she collaborated again on *First Cow* (2019). Her international breakthrough came with the role of Mollie Burkhart in Martin Scorsese's film *Killers of the Flower Moon* (2023). For this performance, she won the Golden Globe and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress, becoming the first Indigenous woman to receive both awards. She also received an Academy Award nomination in the same category, the first for a Native American actress from the United States.
