
Loles León
Loles León (Barcelona, 1950) is a Spanish film, television, and theatre actress. She achieved international fame in the late 1980s through her collaboration with director Pedro Almodóvar, for whom she played memorable roles in films such as *Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown* (1988) and *Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down!* (1989). Her acclaimed film career also includes roles in *Libertarias* (1996) and *The Girl of Your Dreams* (1998), performances that, along with her role in *Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down!*, earned her Goya Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress. On television, she consolidated her immense popularity in Spain thanks to iconic characters in highly successful comedy series, notably Paloma Cuesta in *Aquí no hay quien viva* and Menchu in *La que se avecina*.
