
Luc Roeg
Luc Roeg is a British film producer, the son of acclaimed director Nicolas Roeg. His career in film began at a young age as an actor in his father's film *Walkabout* (1971). He later established himself as a producer, beginning as an associate producer for the film *The Witches* (1990). As co-founder of the production company Independent, he has produced numerous critically acclaimed works. His most significant works include David Cronenberg's *Spider* (2002), *Good* (2008) starring Viggo Mortensen, *Mr. Nice* (2010), and Lynne Ramsay's award-winning *We Need to Talk About Kevin* (2011). For the latter film, he received a BAFTA Award for Best British Film, consolidating his reputation as one of the most important independent producers in the United Kingdom, known for his support of auteur-driven and provocative cinema.
