Luc Thuillier (born October 24, 1964) is a French actor who rose to prominence in the 1980s. He made his screen debut in 1985 in Robin Davis's Hors-la-loi, alongside fellow newcomer Clovis Cornillac. He quickly established himself as a young promise of French cinema, gaining significant recognition for his role as Emile in Patrice Leconte's acclaimed film Monsieur Hire (1989). Another important collaboration was with director Gérard Mordillat, with whom he shot eight films, including Cher frangin (1989) and Toujours seuls (1991). After a prolific film and television career in the 1990s, he gained new television popularity playing Captain Louis Franchard in the series Les Bleus, premiers pas dans la police (2006-2010). A serious motorcycle accident in 2014 interrupted his career.
