Martha Smith is an American actress, model, and real estate agent, known primarily for her roles in film and television during the 1970s and 1980s. She began her career as a model, gaining widespread visibility as *Playboy* magazine's Playmate of the Month for July 1973. Her most iconic big-screen role is that of Barbara "Babs" Jansen in the 1978 cult comedy *Animal House*. On television, she achieved great popularity playing Agent Francine Desmond in the spy series *Scarecrow and Mrs. King*, which aired from 1983 to 1987. Her filmography also includes appearances in numerous other television series and films. After gradually stepping away from acting, she successfully began a second career as a real estate agent in the Beverly Hills area.
