Masoome Zinati is an Iranian-born artist and calligrapher based in Italy. Her artistic practice is distinguished by its unique blend of the ancient tradition of Persian calligraphy and the languages of contemporary Western painting. In her works, the script, often inspired by Sufi poetic texts such as those by Rumi, is transformed into a visual and rhythmic element that integrates with abstract and textured backgrounds, creating compositions of great emotional and spiritual impact. Her work explores universal themes such as identity, the sacred, and intercultural dialogue. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions both in Italy and abroad, receiving significant recognition for her ability to create a visual bridge between East and West through a unique and deeply evocative artistic language.
