
Matthew Broderick
Matthew Broderick is an American actor and singer whose career is distinguished by his success on both the big screen and the Broadway stage. He achieved international fame in the 1980s with films such as *WarGames* (1983) and especially for his iconic title role in *Ferris Bueller's Day Off* (1986), for which he received a Golden Globe nomination. His theatrical work has been recognized with two Tony Awards: the first in 1983 for Best Featured Actor in a Play for *Brighton Beach Memoirs*, and the second in 1995 for Best Actor in a Musical for *How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying*. He received another Tony nomination for his acclaimed performance as Leo Bloom in the musical *The Producers*, a role he later reprised in the 2005 film adaptation.
