
Max Minghella
Max Giorgio Choa Minghella, born in London on September 16, 1985, is a British actor, screenwriter, and director. The son of Academy Award-winning director Anthony Minghella, he made his film debut with roles in films such as *Syriana* (2005) and *Art School Confidential* (2006). His career gained international recognition through his participation in acclaimed films like David Fincher's *The Social Network* (2010) and George Clooney's *The Ides of March* (2011). However, it was his role as Nick Blaine in the award-winning television series *The Handmaid's Tale*, beginning in 2017, that established him with the general public. For this performance, he received several nominations and shared a Screen Actors Guild Award with the cast for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. Alongside his acting, he made his directorial debut with the film *Teen Spirit* (2018), which he also wrote. His more recent works include *Spiral* (2021) and *Babylon* (2022).
