Specializing in the Protoss race, he is considered one of the most iconic and long-standing figures in the European competitive scene. Affiliated with Team Liquid for most of his career, he has established himself as one of the most prominent non-Korean ("foreigner") players in the game's history, known for his strategic skill and exceptional consistency. His accolades include victories in high-profile tournaments such as DreamHack Open: Valencia 2012 and multiple titles on the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) circuit, as well as numerous notable placements in the World Championship Series (WCS).
