Michael Klammer, an Italian actor from South Tyrol born in Bolzano, is a prominent figure in German-language theatre. He trained at the prestigious Otto Falckenberg Schule in Munich. His career has developed mainly in theatre, where for many years he was a permanent member of the ensembles at major institutions such as the Münchner Kammerspiele and the Schaubühne in Berlin, working with internationally renowned directors. In parallel with his work on stage, he has pursued a career in film and television. His film credits include appearances in Silvio Soldini's *Cosa voglio di più*, Terrence Malick's *A Hidden Life*, and the leading role in *Wann wird es endlich wieder so, wie es nie war*. For this latter performance, he received the 2023 Deutscher Schauspielpreis (German Actors' Award) for Best Actor in a Leading Role.
