
Michael Smiley
Michael Smiley (Belfast, 1963) is a Northern Irish actor and comedian. He began his career as a stand-up comedian, gaining recognition in the United Kingdom for his role as the raver courier Tyres O'Flaherty in the cult series *Spaced* (1999-2001). His film career is closely linked to director Ben Wheatley, with whom he has collaborated on films such as *Kill List*, *A Field in England*, and *Free Fire*. For his intense performance in *Kill List* (2011), he won the British Independent Film Award for Best Supporting Actor, a key recognition in his career. His other significant works include the films *The Lobster*, *Jawbone*, and *Come to Daddy*, as well as roles in international productions such as *Rogue One: A Star Wars Story*.
