Michele Cossu (Iglesias, 1961) is an Italian sculptor and painter. His artistic research, deeply rooted in the Mediterranean and archaic culture of Sardinia, is expressed through a powerful and symbolic language. He works primarily with materials such as terracotta, bronze, stone, and wood, exploring universal themes like the human figure, myth, the sacred, and the relationship between humanity and nature.
