
Miguel Ferrer
Miguel José Ferrer (Santa Monica, February 7, 1955 – Los Angeles, January 19, 2017) was an American actor and voice actor. Known for his deep voice and his frequent portrayal of authoritarian, cynical, or antagonistic characters, he had a prolific career in both film and television. His breakthrough role was as Bob Morton in the science fiction film *RoboCop* (1987). On television, he is best known for playing FBI Agent Albert Rosenfield in the cult series *Twin Peaks* (1990–1991), a role he reprised in the 2017 revival shortly before his death. He held main roles in other successful series such as *Crossing Jordan* as Dr. Garret Macy, and *NCIS: Los Angeles* as Assistant Director Owen Granger. His other film credits include *Traffic* (2000) and *Iron Man 3* (2013). As a voice actor, he voiced the character of Shan Yu in the Disney animated film *Mulan* (1998). For his work as a narrator, he received a Grammy Award nomination.
