Miu Takeuchi (竹内 美宥), born on January 12, 1996, is a Japanese singer, actress, and YouTuber. She began her career in 2009 as a member of the well-known idol group AKB48, where she remained for nearly a decade. Her international popularity grew significantly in 2018 with her participation in the South Korean talent show *Produce 48*, where she was noted for her vocal skills and artistic versatility, reaching the final round. After graduating from AKB48, she signed a contract with the South Korean agency Mystic Story to pursue a solo career. In 2019, she released her first Korean single, *My Type*, a self-composed city pop track. Subsequently, in 2021, she participated in the CITYPOP-ON music project.
