
Morten Burian
Morten Burian, born in 1978, is a Danish actor known for his versatile career in theatre, film, and television. A graduate of the Danish National School of Performing Arts in 2005, he has become a prominent figure at the Royal Danish Theatre (Det Kongelige Teater). On stage, he has portrayed significant roles in both classic and contemporary plays, including Hamlet, Richard III, and Mephisto. His film career gained international recognition with the psychological thriller "Speak No Evil" (Gæsterne, 2022), in which he played the role of the menacing Patrick. On television, he has appeared in acclaimed Danish series such as "Forbrydelsen" (The Killing) and "Herrens Veje" (Ride Upon the Storm). His talent has been recognized with the highest honors in Danish theatre, winning the Reumert Award—considered the most prestigious in the field—multiple times, notably as "Actor of the Year" for his intense performances in plays such as "The Seagull" and "Mephisto".
