Nader Ghoulami
Nader Ghoulami is an Iranian-born, naturalized Italian composer, conductor, and musician. Trained at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, he has focused his career on creating a bridge between classical Persian music and Western musical traditions. A virtuoso of the santur, a traditional hammered string instrument, Ghoulami is known for his ability to blend diverse musical languages and sonorities. He founded and directs the Arezzo Multiethnic Orchestra and the Rumi Ensemble, groups with which he explores intercultural dialogue. His artistic output ranges from compositions for orchestra and chamber ensembles to music for theatre and film, characterized by a refined stylistic synthesis. For his commitment to promoting cultural integration through music and for the value of his works, he has received numerous national and international awards and recognitions, establishing himself as one of the most significant figures in the landscape of contemporary and intercultural music in Italy.
