Naomie Harris, born in London on September 6, 1976, is a British actress. After training at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, she gained international recognition with Danny Boyle's horror film *28 Days Later* (2002) and for playing the priestess Tia Dalma in the *Pirates of the Caribbean* franchise. Her career was further established with her role as Eve Moneypenny in the James Bond films *Skyfall* (2012), *Spectre* (2015), and *No Time to Die* (2021). Her most critically acclaimed performance is as Paula, a drug-addicted mother in the film *Moonlight* (2016), for which she received nominations for an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, a BAFTA, and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Supporting Actress. Her other credits include *Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom* (2013) and *Venom: Let There Be Carnage* (2021). For her services to drama, she was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2017.
