Nar Sene, an Italian actor of Senegalese descent, was born in Milan in 1997. He gained international recognition in 2021 starring as the protagonist Omar in the Netflix series *Zero*, the first Italian production with an almost entirely Black main cast. His television career also includes significant roles in popular series such as *Skam Italia*, as Malik, and *Summertime*. On the big screen, he has appeared in films such as *Autumn Beat* (2022) and played an important role in the film *Nata per te* (2023), which is based on a true story. In recognition of his work and impact as an emerging talent, he was awarded the Next Generation Award in 2021, a collateral prize of the Venice International Film Festival that celebrates promising young talents in Italian cinema.
