Nazario Gerardi

His artistic research, which began in the 1970s, is characterized by the use of a dense and layered painting technique, in which he integrates heterogeneous materials such as sand, jute, and pure pigments. His career is marked by numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Among his most significant recognitions is his participation in the 42nd Venice Biennale in 1986, in the "Art and Science" section, a milestone that consolidated his stature in the national and international art context.
