Nicola Castorino is an Italian artist and painter, born in Crotone in 1976. He lives and works in Milan. His artistic research focuses on the human figure, reinterpreting the classical and Renaissance painting tradition, particularly portraiture, with a contemporary sensibility. His works, predominantly executed in oil on canvas, are characterized by intense psychological analysis and a masterful use of chiaroscuro, which lends the subjects an aura of isolation and introspection.
