Nicoletta Parodi is an Italian journalist and television presenter. She began her career in print media in Genoa, contributing to newspapers such as "Il Lavoro" and "Il Secolo XIX". She later moved to Rai, becoming one of the long-standing faces of the TG2 news program. As an anchor and special correspondent, she covered some of the most important international events of the late 20th century, including the fall of the Berlin Wall, the first Gulf War, and the conflicts in the former Yugoslavia. Her expertise in foreign policy led her to the role of chief editor of the foreign news desk. For her work, she has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Saint-Vincent Prize for Journalism and the Guidarello Prize. She was also appointed a Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
