Noble Willingham (August 31, 1931 – January 17, 2004) was an American actor. Before pursuing an acting career, he earned a master's degree in economics and worked as a teacher. His film debut was in 1971 with Peter Bogdanovich's *The Last Picture Show*. Throughout his prolific career, he specialized in character roles, often playing authoritarian figures, businessmen, or politicians in successful films such as *Good Morning, Vietnam* (1987), *City Slickers* (1991), *The Last Boy Scout* (1991), and *Ace Ventura: Pet Detective* (1994). His international fame is primarily linked to the role of C.D. Parker, a friend and confidant of the protagonist in the television series *Walker, Texas Ranger*, a character he portrayed from 1993 to 1999. He left the series to run unsuccessfully for the United States Congress for the Republican Party in 2000. Although he did not receive any major awards, he was a familiar and respected face in American film and television for over three decades.
