
Park No-shik
Park No-shik (1930-1995) was a South Korean actor and one of the most prominent figures in Korean cinema during the 1960s and 1970s. Known for his charisma and physicality, he specialized in "tough guy" roles, becoming an icon of the action, war, and crime films of the era. His filmography includes memorable performances in landmark films such as *Obaltan* (1961), *Oin-ui haebyeong* (Five Marines, 1961), and most notably *Doraoji anneun haebyeong* (The Marines Who Never Returned, 1963), the latter directed by Lee Man-hee, with whom he frequently collaborated. Throughout his prolific career, which includes over 900 film appearances, Park also directed several films. He received numerous accolades for his talent, including several Grand Bell Awards (Daejong Film Awards) for Best Actor, cementing his status as a legend in the history of Korean cinema.
