
Patricia Clarkson
Patricia Clarkson is an American actress, known for her versatility and intense performances in both independent cinema and major productions. Trained at the Yale School of Drama, she made her film debut with a small role in *The Untouchables* (1987), but gained critical acclaim in the late 1990s with the film *High Art* (1998). Her career is marked by memorable roles in films such as *The Green Mile* (1999), *Far from Heaven* (2002), *The Station Agent* (2003), and *Shutter Island* (2010). For her performance in *Pieces of April* (2003), she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
