Antonio Esposito, professionally known as Peparuolo, is a multifaceted figure in the Italian cultural landscape, known primarily as a director and writer. His artistic career took off in the 1990s, gaining the attention of critics with his debut feature film, "L'ombra del Vesuvio" (1995), which earned him the David di Donatello award for Best New Director.
