Peter MacNicol is an American actor and voice actor, born in Dallas on April 10, 1954. He began his career in theater, earning acclaim on Broadway, before making his film debut in *Dragonslayer* (1981). He gained international recognition for his role as Stingo in *Sophie's Choice* (1982).
