She is particularly known to audiences for her appearances in cult series; her most celebrated roles include Safiya in the 1965 *Doctor Who* serial "The Crusade," and Mikki in *Ace of Wands*. On the big screen, her most significant role is that of Doreen in the film *Get Carter* (1971), alongside Michael Caine.
