Pierre Grasset
**Pierre Grasset** (1930-2008) was a French actor known for his long and prolific film career, often in supporting but incisive roles. He collaborated with some of the greatest directors in French and international cinema, leaving a distinctive mark.
Among his most famous works are Jean-Luc Godard's *La Chinoise* (1967), Costa-Gavras' acclaimed *Z* (1969) and *The Confession* (1970), and Jean-Pierre Melville's *The Red Circle* (1970). He also appeared in significant films such as Bertrand Tavernier's *Un dimanche à la campagne* (1984).
