
Rashida Jones
Rashida Leah Jones, born in Los Angeles on February 25, 1976, is an American actress, screenwriter, producer, and director, the daughter of musician Quincy Jones and actress Peggy Lipton. After graduating from Harvard University, she gained international recognition for her television roles as Karen Filippelli in *The Office* and especially as Ann Perkins in the acclaimed sitcom *Parks and Recreation*. Her film career includes roles in movies such as *The Social Network* (2010), *I Love You, Man* (2009), and Sofia Coppola's *On the Rocks* (2020). In addition to acting, Jones is an accomplished writer: she co-wrote and starred in the film *Celeste and Jesse Forever* (2012), earning an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best First Screenplay, and she wrote an episode of the series *Black Mirror*. In 2019, she won a Grammy Award for Best Music Film as co-director of the documentary *Quincy*, about her father's life and career.
