Rebel Penfold-Russell is an Australian producer, director, and actress, known for her significant contribution to her country's cinema. She founded the production company Latent Image Productions, through which she has developed internationally significant projects. Her most celebrated work is the production of the cult film *The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert* (1994), directed by Stephan Elliott. The film achieved widespread critical and commercial success, solidifying her reputation and winning an Academy Award for Best Costume Design, in addition to receiving Golden Globe and BAFTA nominations. Her other works as a producer include *Frauds* (1993), also directed by Elliott. She also made her feature film directorial debut with *WillFull* (2001).
