Régis Muller is a French artist and photographer, born in 1974 in Lorraine. His artistic research, which began in the late 1990s, explores themes such as identity, memory, and the representation of the human body through photography and digital manipulation. His conceptual approach is manifested in photographic series in which the image is altered to question the perception of reality and social conventions. Among his most significant works are the series "Les Apparences," where he modifies historical portraits; "Troubles," which explores psychological frailties; and "Identités," a reflection on the construction of the self. His works have been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Europe and around the world, earning institutional recognition and inclusion in major public and private collections, which attest to his significance in the contemporary art scene.
