Riccardo Zinna (Naples, May 18, 1958 – Naples, September 20, 2018) was an Italian actor, director, and musician. A multifaceted artist, he developed his career working across film, theater, and music, distinguishing himself through his versatility. Known to the general public for his roles as a character actor, he collaborated with some of the most important Italian directors. His most significant performances include roles in Gabriele Salvatores's *Nirvana*, Matteo Garrone's *Gomorra*, and in Paolo Sorrentino's films such as *L'uomo in più* and *Le conseguenze dell'amore*. He also worked with Nanni Moretti in *Il caimano* and with Carlo Mazzacurati in *La giusta distanza*. Alongside acting, he cultivated his passion for music, distinguishing himself as a skilled trumpeter, an instrument he often integrated into his artistic performances. As a director, he directed short films and the documentary *Flain O'Brien* (2018), his final work, dedicated to the Irish writer. His career was praised for his ability to portray complex characters and for the constant dialogue between different art forms.
