Richard Bradford (Tyler, November 10, 1937 – Los Angeles, March 22, 2002) was an American actor. Trained at the Actors Studio in New York, he achieved international fame as the lead in the British espionage television series *Man in a Suitcase* (1967–1968), in which he played McGill, a disgraced former U.S. intelligence agent. This iconic role defined his career and earned him a cult status. Subsequently, he established himself as a respected character actor in film, known for his intense screen presence. His most significant performances include his portrayal of corrupt police chief Mike Dorsett in Brian De Palma's *The Untouchables* (1987), and his roles in films such as *Missing* (1982), *The Milagro Beanfield War* (1988), and *Internal Affairs* (1990). Although he did not receive major awards, his performance in *Man in a Suitcase* is widely recognized as an influence on the television spy genre, cementing his reputation as a versatile and memorable actor.
