Richard Kind is an American actor and voice actor, born in Trenton, New Jersey, in 1956. His career took off in the 1990s with iconic roles in successful sitcoms; he is widely known for portraying Dr. Mark Devanow in *Mad About You* and Paul Lassiter in *Spin City*. He has also had the recurring role of Andy, Larry David's cousin, in the series *Curb Your Enthusiasm*. As a voice actor, he has lent his voice to numerous animated characters, particularly for Pixar, including Molt in *A Bug's Life*, Van in *Cars*, and the memorable Bing Bong in *Inside Out*.
