Rick Rossovich, born Frederic Enrico Rossovich (Palo Alto, August 28, 1957), is an American actor, known primarily for his roles in successful films of the 1980s. He began his career with minor parts but gained visibility playing Matt Buchanan in *The Terminator* (1984). International fame arrived in 1986 with the role of Lieutenant Ron "Slider" Kerner in the cult film *Top Gun*, which established him as one of the iconic faces of cinema in that decade. His film career includes other notable appearances in films such as *Roxanne* (1987) and the action film *Navy SEALs* (1990). On television, his most significant role was that of Lieutenant Anthony Palermo in the police series *Pacific Blue*, in which he starred from 1996 to 1998.
